Re: Question/Poll....

All three deserve it, so should be. I have seen that. If only one can be, it should be the lead car because it's setting the pace (or holding up the other two lol). Then, again, it'll be the red Corvette...

Re: tracker won't start

What do you know about the new motor (you know that it ran)?
Did you check the ignition timing against the cam timing (what are the valves doing at #1 TDC)?
How do you know that it has spark (what was your technique)?

Re: Have you ever....

A big owl took off in front of my AMX one night. It was wierd, as I was sure I had hit it (I was flying through a dip in a wash at, um, "a pretty good clip") but couldn't find it at first. I opened my hood for good measure and found it had become one with the AC condenser. It didn't make s...

Re: WAZ run Feb 11th Sat Tucson run, Char Gap

Well, we are back before anybody else, cause the Gap is still tougher than "Ram Tough". :bow2: We had fun, though, and thanks again for helping me get the behemoth turned around. We'll see tomorrow how well the clear coat polishes out. :innocent: Oh, and I'll be buying matching front hub c...

Re: WAZ run Feb 11th Sat Tucson run, Char Gap

Our presence has been blessed for the run. The only question that remains is what we take: the big-ass Ram CTD dually crew cab long bed, or the Subaru Outback. The Outback might be easier to park at the roadside lunch cafe. :scratching:

Re: Off road Civic

I really want a lift kit but I only have about 156 dollars. Do you think it is possible to get one that cheap? Until you get some more monies, just ask your bus driver to take you off-roadin'. I hear those short ones do pretty good in the rocks. :thumb: Wow guy very funnny. Why don't you go hop in ...

'Yota reman or machine shop sources?

I need to rebuild / replace a 5M-GE (I6 2.8 FI) real soon. What are some trustworthy Toyota longblock sources, or good machine shops in greater Tucson or Phoenix areas?

Thanks!

Re: 1978 K5 Blazer Rebuild...

And remember, if you arch them beyond their original stock state, they will be shorter eye to eye (which creates it's own set of problems). They may also just flatten right back out if not conditioned properly after the arching.
