Finally got some dirt rd testing.
I set the bypasses to full bypass but still the rear barely hit the bumps at all.

Jumped a table top afew times, looks like nothing on the POV go pro but felt like I was gettin it.

Steering didnt like the quick truns, the belt was squealing, the Atlas is leaking I think out of the speedo hole, and the engine tune has no power at lower RPMs. Everything else felt good so far. Once I fix the atlas oil leak Im confident in taking it for a real drive.

A walk around view

First test drive on the back roads behind our house.
At 5:50 is my first little table top jump. After hitting it going the other direction I landed ass high rolling only on the front tires and the rear landed very soft.

Im very impressed and this is with absolutely no tuning and the bypasses fully open.

Looks great man, but how many turns are you lock to lock, looks like the steering is super slow...? Is the orbital set up for cone dodging?
if i'd of known we were making history, i'd have paid closer attention (some dude in dust to glory)

The steering is really impressive quick at low speeds in that video I think It aerated which sucks.
The hydraulic line are comming out the back side of the ram not the top. I Think that is the issue.
Ill have to test my up travel to see if there is clearance for the lines to be on top of the ram.

Im working with a vendor on pirate4x4, waynehartwig.
I will scan it for engine codes, Ill make sure the O2 sensors and IAC are good, and clean the Mass airflow sensor before sending it out. If any of those are an issue it wouldent be the tunes fault.

So have you run a scan? What codes?

Remember what I was telling you about the drive cycles for the readiness monitors.

http://www.google.com/search?client=ope ... 8&oe=utf-8

You need to do the idle cycle multiple times without faults and the speed drive monitors to set the computer or it will limp.

hth give me a call if i can help.

I rented a scanner, I reset the codes. I took off the Mass airflow, TPS and IAC sensors, cleaned them with electronic sensor cleaner and reinstalled them. I sprayed ether looking for a vacuum leak and found one around the MAP sensor, I need to seal up. I think it has blow by, I get a puff of smoke on a cold start after a warm shut down and I saw oil at the buterfly valve. I drove it around and had the same issues. No new codes came up from my test drive. Next I will voltage test the sensors to determine if they are functioning.

Ill run it more this weekend to see how it does.

It he can tune it fairly quick it would be around $300+ the dyno fee.

Give his a call and see what he says

Had a good shake down run, 13 trails in two days, florence and table mesa, not an open invite kinda run.

I broke a 806X spicer Ujiont on Bad Med, it took out both shafts. I borrowed a short side shafts set to continue day two.

Thanks to scrambler 82 I got a steel Hawse fairlead to chop up. sorry I sent you the wrong shirt size.
My chassis has a small fairlead for a narrowed winch. I run a full lenght winch but had to make a mini fairlead. a Cut, weld and some cleanup sanding it was good to go.

I also made a suck down winch point i needed on several climbs on that first trip.

John from http://rockingjoffroad.com/default.aspx a local tucson shop makes these sweet fire extinguisher mounts.

I made sure to get at least one build by Simon
Image

I got my replacement yukon shafts and upgrade to Nitro 300M D60 joints through my buddie Andrew in Mesa http://www.letzrolloffroad.com/
He had parts in stock and got them to be quick!!
Image
Image
a broke Spicer 733 sandwiched in 300M
Image

The Ujoint I got was a 733X not the 806X I thought I had. Both are forged but the 733X spicer is weaker because of the Zerk fitting hole where mine broke. I also learned you want to mount Zerk holes so they are compressed not stretched open under normal torque direction.
Image

I think the one that failed was installed backwards, allowing the zirk hole to slit open

Did a desert run from the house last weekend.
took on a good tire gash 3in wide through a tire lug.

Trying the new PCM tune but still having motor issues. Lots to do before the Dirt Riot race Jan 13-14
