Sky Manufacturing U-Bolt flip kit for Toyota

| Why a flip kit? |
|
A u-bolt flip kit accomplishes a few things. It increases ground clearance by moving the plate and nuts to the top of the axle. It also replaces the wimpy stock u-bolts with some very heavy duty 9/16" bolts. This can help keep the axle located and reduce the change of breaking a centering pin. In my case, I needed u-bolts for my SAS, and this was faster and easier than doing it myself, and not much (if any) more expensive. *note* This flip kit is for
my 83 axle. Some axle may differ due to the factory support position. Be
sure to specify what axle you have. Also, mine have a 90* bend instead of
a angle like in the above picture.

I decided to get these from Sky since I was tired of having to return everything Marlin has sent me. Besides, I have heard good things about them and wanted to check them out.

The items arrived packed well and included 2 plates, 4 u-bolts, 8 washers, 8 nuts and a sticker.

| Installation |
| Installation is very simple. Push the u-bolts up from the bottom and then through the plates, then install the nuts, torque to spec and go. One thing to keep in mind is that the passenger side has a larger u-bolt to clear the pumpkin. One of the plates has 2 holes further apart then the other to make up for this. Just keep and eye on that and you are all set.

| Conclusion |
This kit is simple, tough and goes together as needed with no issues. If you need a flip kit, I recommend considering this one. |
